Lightening Strikes in Philosopher's Wool

This sweater seems to have had an unexpected influence on the weather. It was first knit in the Spring of 2008 heralding the wettest summer on record in Ontario.. Most of this rain lashed down on us in Inverhuron in the form of violent, and magnificent electric storms. Everyone was hit by some of these storms, we only missed one. The thunder rolled followed often by immediate flashes, and our farm was hit time and again, with few ill effects beyond a flooded vegetable garden and spoilt hay. However it might be wise to avoid designs incorporating snow.
